Below are a few remedies for constipation ideal for those that are suffering from a non-severe case of constipation, and those that frequently have to deal with this issue.

Pear And Apple Juice
Use a juicer to combine pear and apple juice. Preferably, the ratio is 1:1 (half a cup of apple juice combined with half a cup of pear juice). It would be best to drink this first thing in the morning, and an hour or so before you head to bed. It may not be easy to juice pears at all, but with ripe pears, you could easily slice the whole fruit into smaller chunks, add some water into a blender, and puree the whole fruit along with the apple. This while form a viscous drink, and you will be getting some extra fiber in your diet, if you use the entire pear. Do remember to take out the hard parts in the core, and the seeds. With organic varieties, it is best to include the skin in your drink. There are plenty of healthy chemicals, vitamins and minerals in pear, and these all help in cleansing your kidney, colon, as well as rejuvenating blood cells.

Prune And Apple Juice
This is most ideal for chronic constipation. Prune juice specifically aids in boosting your “peristaltic action”. Use your juicer to extract as much as 3 to 4 glasses of apple juice. You are to drink all of these every day, preferably with every meal. When it comes to constipation remedies, go natural as much as possible, but if this is not possible, choose flash pasteurized over pasteurized, and if you had to choose between glass containers and plastic types, it would be best to go with glass, as plastic tends to outgas into liquids. You can further accelerate the laxative of these juices by combining them and drinking them until your constipation is gone.
